Located on slopes of Chyulu hills in Makueni county in Kenya, The New Century School is an informal school that offers free education for children under the care of Sikizana Trust Rescue centre. It gives an opportunity to late learners from the community to enroll and be fast tracked to the education level of their age. We further offer an opportunity to children from single mother households. We rescue the children of mothers affected gender violence and provide them with safety and education as we assist the affected parents mitigate the situations.  We aim to instill a lifelong love of learning in every child even as we place great emphasis on performing art and music instruction. Dance and singing are integral part of our daily learning.
